NC ENGINEERING BUILDS SALES TEAM FOR CITIZEN AND BOLEY LATHES

Following an absence of eight years, Tony Nolloth has returned to NC Engineering of Watford to take over responsibility for sales and customer support for Citizen CNC sliding head and Boley fixed head lathes in Scotland and the Eastern England territory from Essex to South Yorkshire.

Tony brings to NC Engineering some 16 years of technical sales in turning and mill/turning plus five years of application engineering. He was previously employed by NC Engineering for four years in the early 90s before becoming area sales manager for the Kingsbury Group covering the Midlands and North.

He replaces John Cope who is undertaking a new position as sales manager for NC Engineering’s growing business of pre-owned, Citizen and Boley CNC lathes.

Tony Nolloth’s initial reaction to the CNC sliding head automatic lathe market is one of amazement at the changes to the technology and the way Citizen’s machines are being used by customers to achieve such dramatic increases in productivity. "So many traditional fixed head lathe users have moved over to sliding head for parts up to 32 mm diameter and although I had been aware of the market penetration of Citizen and the reputation of NC Engineering, I did not realise the success of the customer orientated culture of the business," he says.
