| Greatly increased rapid feed rates |
Increased by over 50% for all axes whilst maintaining the same
acceleration time. |
| Shockless Acceleration and Deceleration function |
This function suppresses undesirable machine vibration in high-speed
operation by smoothing out acceleration and deceleration where there
are large changes in rapid feed rate. |
| Tool Post overlap function |
During a tool selection this allows one tool post to begin moving
to position whilst the other is retracting. The function is completely
automatic, independent of the part-program. |
| Direct spindle indexing function |
This allows
the spindle to stop at the correct position immediately eliminating
the delay on conventional machines due to having to stop
the spindle and return to zero point in separate operations. This
greatly reduces the idle time. |
| Axis movement overlap |
During tool
change or thread cutting, this function enables an axis to begin
moving before another axis finishes moving. The operation
fully optimised eliminating unnecessary idle time and reducing the
vibration of the machine. |
